Artificial pitches

Hello, I have just read your match report for the hayes United game, and I 100% agree that the two home sides get a very unfair advantage of playing on these type pitches.

They are both by far the best footballing sides as they get the time to play regularly on a guaranteed flat pitch that wont get waterlogged etc.

What I will say though is that although Bedfont Sports beat them, it was only down to Hayes United aerial weakness. On the floor they were much the better side, but in the air they suffered. Now tell me, if they were to play on grass week in week out would that be the same (good on the floor but weak in the air)? I think not, as bobbly pitches force teams to play long balls etc.

Another shocker for me is that the league will not allow us to wear studs on this ground.......not being a tight a*/*e, but I can't afford to go out and buy another set of boots for two games in a season.....I dont know what level they think we play at, or what we do for jobs!

Anyhopw, keep up the good work, I'm sure you'll turn your results around soon, as when you played at Bedfont Sports you were a very good side.
