The Middlesex County League AGM is scheduled for Monday 2nd June and so Southall have until then to secure the use of a suitable ground for next season.

The Affiliation Form for Middlesex County FA has already arrived asking for details for the coming season although my submission of this will be after the MCFL AGM.

If a suitable venue is not found then we will continue in Division One.

is it that the club have to notify of the intended ground by that date, dont you have to give the name of the ground for division one.
It would be a real shame if that was to happen especially after the hard work on the field.

If we are going into the Premier Division the County League will want to know where we have arranged to play. They will then check that the venue meets the requirements for their top division.

If we don't find anywhere and we are still in Division One then notification of the place where we are playing next season can be given to the league at a later date.

terraceboy wrote:Also a groundshare option is CB Hounslow Uniteds ground and there first team pitch is in superb conditon they also now have a nice new little seating(benches) stand in one corner of the ground plus a few other standing covered areas around the ground and the pitch has metal rails and decent dugouts and the ground is fenced off with a wooden fence but there are no floodlights but thers is a clubhouse and burger van!.Also right behind there ground is a roped off pitch with dugouts.

Went to watch CB Hounslow United v Coulsdon Untied in the Combined Counties League Division One on Saturday and it finished 3 3 CB Hounslow United were winning 3 0 with around 10 mins to go it was a great last 1O mins!.It gave me a chance to see if they had made any changes to there ground and they have they have put in a turnstile(which is not in use yet) and they have taking down the 3 little shelters along oneside of the ground so they can move the outer fence back so there is more room between the pitch fence and the outer fence they have also put a little(very little  )roof on the stand.I really think that this could be a great groundshare option for Southall if it is possible. Its as near as you can get to Western Road.

I agree.CB Hounslow Uniteds pitch is in great condition because only their first team plays on it and they may well want to keep it that way.

Have been in contact with both CB Hounslow and Osterley Sports Club where the CB pitch is situated.

It is a no go on both accounts.
