Do any southall supporters of old still go to games or are involved with the club, i know Geoff is obviously still there.

i was afan in he mid sixties, i became a junior in 1971. and i came back in john reay's reserves gaining the odd game for first team around 1979. i lived at 170 western road, known as a sweetshop/newsagents called 'willsons'. john cockerill lived opposite and his dad was president/chairman in those days, were is bernie or jim the groundsman, no mention of gordon bartlett; 'youngest manager to lead a team at wembley' or the 12-o win i think at barnet for the reserves in the last game of the season to record a title (i believe recorded in the guiness book of records) chris ryan was a hero. all the best eddie willson,

Eddie - This is just to give you an update on the names you have mentioned. Sadly, John Reay passed away probably 10 years ago - Gordon Bartlett is now manager of Wealdstone FC and Chris Ryan is still alive and well, and I often see him at Hayes FC with his son Elliott. Chris is still involved in arranging the Celebrity Showbix Football Team. I don't know where Bernie O'Leary is but I would love to see him again - a wonderful chairman during the time I was at the club.
